Upon first learning I was pregnant with my Little Wonder I began to dream about the perfect boho magical baby nursery with a warm peach pink wall and all the cute little baby items and essentials I would need to take care of her. But then I realized I needed to consider what I would do with all her poo! I began to wonder if I should use disposable diapers or cloth diapers and the research flurry ensued. In just my year and a half of cloth diapering I have learn A LOT through both research and my own experience. Now it is an easy and might I say ENJOYABLE (shock!) part of my busy routine!

I truly love cloth diapering and once I started, it became much less overwhelming. And I think that you can feel the same with a little encouragement and a little help. Take my hand, take a breath. I know how overwhelming it can feel when you are just considering or starting to cloth diaper but it is worth it.

I’m going to answers these questions in this series and show you how you can start cloth diapering too! But let’s start here:

Should I even choose to cloth diaper?

I assume if you are looking up cloth diapering, then you are considering it. Or maybe you’re just really interested in my weird decision to do so, that’s cool too! Maybe you will join me and maybe not – it is totally wonderful if you use disposables and totally wonderful if you use cloth!

My decision to cloth diaper was NOT some superhero decision or what I think every parent must choose or even the absolute best thing to do for your baby. You caring for your baby and doing the best thing to help you care for them in the unique way that fits your parenting style and life is what makes you a superhero mom, dad or caretaker.
